Tony Fagelman – Writer

Tony Fagelman is a hugely experienced and knowledgeable figure within trampolining, holding an unrivalled portfolio of involvement and achievements. Tony started and trained for many years with West Yorkshire Supertramps in Leeds and ended up as Head Coach of the club.

Having been involved in trampolining from a young age, Tony’s most notable achievements include founding the Cambridge Cangaroos Trampoline Club, becoming the youngest ever person to pass the ‘Advanced Coaching Award’ and representing his country as a performer.

Tony passed his ‘Advanced Coach Award’ in 1982 at the age of 21, making him the youngest person to receive the award.  Following this award, Tony went on to coach a number of national level trampolinists, and one at international level.

In 2004 Tony started Cambridge Cangaroos Trampoline Club, which is now the biggest club in the Eastern region with over 250 active members, running 16 different sessions a week. The club operates at 5 centres, with the main centre being Sawston Sports Centre is South Cambridge.

Tony is also a Level 2 cricket coach and former Head Coach of Shelford and Stapleford Colts, a local youth cricket club.
